Our public health nurses also provide referrals for services and assessments such as speech, hearing, nutrition and mental health. Through the Healthy Schools Program, public health nurses also partner with school districts and schools to promote physical, emotional and social well-being using a comprehensive school health approach. You can contact your public health team at your local public health unit.

If you live in Delta and are experiencing food shortages, we have several ways to help you. These include an emergency food cupboard, our community garden, a bread gleaning program, Christmas hampers with our partners North Delta Rotary Club. This page also includes a list of food banks in the area.

We offer a variety of groups and workshops for residents of Delta. If you are interested in a program, please call 604-594-3455, ask for the extension which is listed for that program, and leave a message that includes your phone number. A counsellor from that program will call you back.
